I’ve loved Reliant K since I heard Sadie Hawkins Dance off their debut album, The Anatomy of the Tongue in Cheek.

I thought I’d share one of my favorite songs by them. The lyrics really strike a chord. (pun intended)

The song is aptly titled Death Bed, which tells the story of a man who is dying and looking back on his life. It speaks of regrets and failures and a few happy moments–all the things that make up a life.

This song is particularly special to me because it specifically helped me develop my character Rhys Matthews (Evan), from Between Octobers, and whose story I am currently continuing as book 3 in the Savor The Days series.
