Amy (A.R.) Rivera lives in sunny California with her hubby and four amazing children. She is the author of six books (women’s fiction & sci-fi with elements of crime and romance) and recently discovered the art of screenwriting. She is currently working towards her Master’s degree in English & Creative Writing with a Focus in Screenwriting.  When she is not crafting academic papers, she is busy entering screenwriting contests, blogging about writing, and building her writers portfolio.

She has adapted several of her books into screenplays. One of them, Inertia, became an original TV pilot that placed in the quarterfinals of the ISA Networks Table-Read My Screenplay Competition of Summer of 2022, in the action/adventure category. Another original screenplay, Dear Boy, was a quarterfinalist in the Finish Line Screenwriting Competition of 2020. Most recently, Amy has been contracted to write a feature screenplay for Serendipity Works, out of Los Angeles.
